Darf ich vorstellen: Eines meiner neusten LEGO Modelle aus der ganz eigenen Produktion. Wie unschwer zu erkennen ist, handelt es sich um den Audi Quattro A2 aus der Audi Sport-Serie.
Natürlich habe ich auch hier mein Bestes gegeben um den Wagen so realistisch wie möglich nachzubilden. Dabei stehen natürlich als erstes die Proportionen und in diesem Fall auch die schicke und mit einem hohen Wiedererkennungswerk verbundene Lackierung an erster Stelle…
Allow me to introduce: One of my newest LEGO models from my own production. As it is easy to see this is the Audi Quattro A2 out of the Audi Sport series.
Of course, I did my best to recreate the car as realistic as possible. Here for the priority were the proportions and in in this case also the great and highly recognisable paintwork…
Den ersten Prototyp habe ich aus meinen eigenen Teilen des LEGO Sortiments zusammen gebaut, wobei dieser noch einige Möglichkeiten der Verbesserung anbot. Diesen habe ich mich dann anschließend beim Nachbauen im Computerprogramm nochmals genauer angenommen. Für ein deutlich realistischeres Gesamtbild sorgen hierbei die jetzt vollendeten Oberflächen, durch die deutlich größere Auswahl an Teilen wie zum Beispiel Fliesen uns Schrägen.
Auch habe ich es mir nicht nehmen lassen mit den großen neuen Möglichkeiten das Modell auch im Untergrund weiter auszubauen. Der neu entstandene Motorraum, welcher durch die zu öffnende Motorhaube einzusehen ist bietet viel Raum für den flotten Motor:
I built the first prototype from my own parts of the LEGO assortment, which still offered some possibilities for future improvements. I then took a closer look at these while I rebuilt the car in the computer program. The now completed surfaces provide for an overall more realistic picture, by the clearly larger selection of parts as for example tiles and slopes.
Also, with the great new possibilities I didn’t miss the chance to expand the model even further underground. The newly created engine compartment, which can be viewed through the opening bonnet, offers plenty of space for the nippy engine:

Instruction
Der letzte aufwändige Schritt zum fertigen Modell stellt auch hier die Erstellung einer geeigneten Bauanleitung dar. Diese wollte ich auch hier vollständig erstellen, sodass einem möglichen Nachbau mit echten LEGO Steinen nichts mehr im Wege steht.
Wie bei jedem meiner Modelle mit Bauanleitung, habe ich auch diese bei Rebrickable hochgeladen und wer will kann sie sich dort gerne zulegen…
The final and complex step towards the finished model is as always, the creation of a suitable construction manual. I also wanted to create these completely for this model, so that there is nothing to prevent a possible replica with real LEGO bricks.
As with each of my models with instructions, I have uploaded these to Rebrickable and who wants is free to get them there…
